Privacy Policy

Your data is your data. We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry, never sell it, and never share it with advertisers or third parties for commercial purposes.

Last updated June 2026·Governing law Australia·Operator QANT Pty Ltd

We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry and maintain a working business relationship. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or pass it on to any third party for commercial purposes. Ever.

01Who We Are

This website is operated by QANT Pty Ltd (ACN 088 738 943 / ABN 77 088 738 943), a technology company registered in Australia. The site is accessible at qant.au and associated subdomains (including adamburgess.me).

QANT Pty Ltd designs, builds and operates digital platforms, applied AI systems, and related digital products. Nothing on this website constitutes professional security consulting, legal advice, or a guarantee of any specific outcome.

For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us directly at privacy@qant.au.

02What Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to respond to your enquiry and operate this website.

Contact Form Information

When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional company name, the subject category you selected, and the contents of your message. This information is used only to respond to your enquiry.

Communications

Any messages you send us via email or through our contact form, and any responses we provide, are retained as part of our business correspondence.

Server Logs

Like any website, ours produces standard request logs that include IP address, user agent, and page accessed. These logs are used only for operational security and troubleshooting and are retained for a short period.

03How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for the following purposes:

We do not use your information for advertising, automated profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described above.

04What We Do Not Do

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for any commercial purpose. We do not use your data to target you with advertising on any platform. We do not pass your contact details to any other business, partner, or affiliate without your explicit consent.

05Sharing of Information

The only circumstances under which limited information may be shared with a third party are:

Application hosting — Google (Google Australia Pty Ltd)

This website and the contact-form backend run on Google Cloud Platform — Cloud Run for compute — deployed to the Sydney (australia-southeast1) region. Contact-form submissions you send are processed and stored on this Australian infrastructure.

DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection — Cloudflare

Cloudflare provides DNS, content delivery, and DDoS protection for qant.au and associated domains. Traffic passes through Cloudflare's edge network; no contact-form content is stored there.

Bot protection on the contact form — Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm submissions come from a real person rather than an automated bot. Turnstile assesses browser and interaction signals and returns a verification token submitted with your message; it does not ask you to identify yourself and is not used to track you across sites. Turnstile is governed by Cloudflare's privacy terms.

Website analytics — first-party, in-house

We measure aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and how visitors arrive — using our own first-party analytics, built and hosted entirely within QANT infrastructure in Sydney. No data is sent to Google, Meta, or any third-party analytics provider — there is zero third-party visibility into your visit. We store no advertising profile, set no tracking cookies (a short-lived in-browser session id only), and never record your full IP address (only an aggregate country derived at our edge).

Email delivery — Mailgun (Sinch)

When you submit the contact form, the resulting notification email is delivered to our inbox through Mailgun (operated by Sinch). Mailgun is used for delivery only — it does not store your message as part of our records. Because Mailgun operates outside Australia, the email content transits overseas infrastructure while it is being delivered.

Legal obligation

In the rare circumstance where we are required to disclose information under Australian law or a valid legal order, we will comply. Where lawfully permitted, we will notify you before any such disclosure.

Zero-knowledge encrypted customer data

Where customer data is encrypted client-side using customer-held keys — for example, certain QANT Core payloads protected by envelope encryption — QANT does not store the encryption keys, recovery keys, or any other material required to decrypt that data. If we are compelled to disclose information under a valid legal order, we will produce the encrypted payload as it is stored on our infrastructure. We cannot produce — and will not produce — the keys needed to read it, because we do not possess them. Custody of those keys is the customer's responsibility, by design.

Of the sub-processors above, your personally identifiable information is only ever held by Google — which hosts the contact-form backend and stores your submission on Australian infrastructure — and handled transiently by Mailgun while an enquiry email is being delivered. Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile handle traffic and bot-detection signals that do not contain your account-identifying information. All sub-processors are engaged under appropriate data processing terms.

We will never share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any other commercial third parties.

06Data Storage and Security

Customer data submitted through this website is stored on infrastructure located in Australia, and stays in Australia at rest. The one exception is in transit: when you send us an enquiry, the notification email is delivered through Mailgun (see Sharing, above), which routes the message content through overseas infrastructure during delivery. We do not store your data outside Australia.

Access to your data is strictly limited to authorised personnel only.

While we take all reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect your personal information, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security. If you suspect any unauthorised access to your data, contact us immediately at privacy@qant.au.

07Cookies and Tracking

This website uses minimal browser storage technologies. Most are used solely for delivering site functionality. Our first-party analytics use a short-lived in-browser session id (not a tracking cookie) to measure aggregate traffic patterns (see Sharing, above). We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or tracking tools that transmit your personal information to external parties for commercial purposes.

We do not run advertising tracking technology — including Meta Pixel or Google Ads remarketing tags — on this site. Our analytics are restricted to aggregate traffic patterns and do not transmit personally identifiable information to external providers for commercial purposes.

09Data Retention

We retain your contact information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain related business correspondence.

Business records associated with paid engagements are retained for the period required under Australian taxation and financial record-keeping law — typically seven years — after which they are permanently deleted.

You may request deletion of your data at any time. Upon request, all personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

10International Customers
